Two Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW) activists, Emerson Yuntho and Adnan Topan Husodo, shunned summons from Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Bareskrim) investigators for questioning in a case reported by Prof. Romli Atmasasmita. Both argued that they are still processing Romli's report to the Press Council.

Rusli Sibua, Regent of Morotai in North Maluku, the suspect in a bribery case to Akil Mochtar, the former Chairman of the Constitutional Court, was picked up from his home by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). His arrest is evidence that a pre-trial appeal can't stop an ongoing KPK investigation.

Candidates of KPK leaders that passed their administrative selection underwent further on the spot tests on academic potential and paper writing. 190 from 194 registrants who attended the test was given 90 minutes to answer 70 multiple choice questions on about the organizational structure and legal bases of KPK. Most participants were caught off guard since they thought the test will focus on their understanding and views about combating corruption.
 

"Fire on Storeage House, KPK's Confiscated Goods Burned"

An evidence storage house at the Office of the State Confiscated Goods Storage (Rupbasan) Class I for West Jakarta and Tangerang caught fire last night. The fire that took place immediately after the evening prayer time (maghrib) scorched 50 units of motorcycles seized by the West Jakarta and Tangerang District Court, several sacks of the Police's confiscated documents, and health scanner units confiscated by KPK.

Four KPK commissioners who signed an official order to name former Chairman of Commission VII at the House of Representatives (DPR), Sutan Bhatoegana, as a corruption suspect are scheduled to testify in Sutan's appeal at the Jakarta Corruption Court. Sutan was charged on an alleged gratification case related to DPR sessions on the Revision of State Budget (RAPBN) for the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
